This Is the End, is the story of what actors would do if the rapture and the apocalypse happened while having a party at James Franco’s house. Six actors live long enough to be robbed by Emma Watson (The girl that played Hermoine in Harry Potter.) and raped and possessed by a demon and to be redeemed by self sacrifice and eaten by cannibals.
The story wasn’t horrible and the acting was. The effects were nicely done and the amount of anatomically correct demons was a bit surprising. Emma Watson saves the movie and Seth Rogen and Andy McBride strive to destroy it. If you could harness the power of Jay Baruchel’s shaking head you could power the west coast.
This Is the End, earns one Non-Pot Smoking Monkey. Three Stoned Monkeys gave it a thumbs up and then got distracted by a door closing and wandered off to find snacks.
This movie is just plain wrong and relies on base jokes of masturbation and pee to make the audience laugh. Not a movie for the young or intelligent. To my shamed I laughed a lot and felt a bit in need of a shower after watching. Wait for it to come out on video if you’re curious or not at all if you’re smart. Fans of the world’s worst actor Seth Rogen will like this movie and have already seen it.
