The Friends of the Sutter County Library received a $3,000 grant from Umpqua Bank on March 25th. The grant funds will be used for the Friends of the Sutter County Library sponsored Summer Reading Program. Each summer the Sutter County library holds a Summer Reading Program for the children of our community. Over the years this program has grown to benefit more than 2,500 children annually.
The Friends of the Sutter County Library are very thankful for the Umpqua Bank’s Community Outreach program. Many of the Umpqua Bank employees volunteer their time and talents, helping the Friends of the Library in many of our programs. Each Umpqua Bank employee volunteers in our community a total of 40 hours each year. These hours that the Umpqua employees volunteer each year do make a difference in our community.
Thank You Umpqua Bank!
