Yuba College Student Veterans’ Association Fun Shoot Competition

On April 18th 2015 the Yuba College Student Veterans’ Association (YCSVA) we will be hosting a fundraising event at the Twin Cities Rod and Gun Club at 68 Second Street, Yuba City Ca, 95991, (behind the Sutter County Airport.) It is a Fun Shoot Competition with four events.

We will be hosting two pistol events:

Drop Plate: Is a timed event where you fire at a row of metal plates. The fastest competitor wins.

2x4 Post: Is a team event where two competitors will work together to cut a 2x4 post in half.

We will also be hosting 2 rifle events:

Pop Shot: Where we will have a row of candy suckers lined up and the object is to shoot as many as possible.

Soda Blast: Is an event based off of the carnival classic “Milk Bottle Toss” where we will have several cans of soda stacked and the object is to take out as many as possible.

The YCSVA will also be hosting a barbeque during this event and will have great food and prizes.

The organization consists of veterans returning to school after military service. The goal is to provide services and educational materials to help with this transitional period. YCSVA is a nonprofit organization that operates solely off of donations.

There are some ammunition restrictions for certain events.

Open to all calibers under .50 cal

Participants my only use standard, lead or full metal jacket ammunition for drop plate competition.

All participants must have hearing and eye protection to participate.

All Twin Cities Rod and Gun Club Safety Rules will apply.
