On March 28 the Yuba Sutter United Veterans Council will hold its 6th annual Viet Nam Veterans Welcome Home event. The California Legislature designated the last Saturday in March as a day to recognize those who served in Viet Nam. This year as in the past the event will be held at the Sutter County Veterans Center on Civic Center Blvd in Yuba City beginning at 11:00 AM
This event is not limited to Viet Nam Veterans all veterans as well as active duty personnel are welcome. We will also introduce and honor all Gold Star Moms and families those who lost a child in any conflict, and Blue Star Moms whose children are currently serving in the military.
All are welcome to attend this is a great opportunity to recognize those who have served and those are currently severing this nation in all branches of the military please join us in saying “Thanks For Your Service”.
Tables will be available to display military memorabilia please insure that any ordnance is inert.
