Valley Roadwork Schedule Sunday through Saturday March 22 - 28, 2015

LONG-TERM PROJECTS

State Route 32 (Butte County) Work continues on a $9.9 million project by the City of Chico to widen State Route 32 from two lanes to four lanes between Fir Street and El Monte Avenue. Completion is expected in 2015. No traffic-interfering work is scheduled.

State Route 70 (Yuba County) Work continues on an $18 million project by Yuba County and Caltrans to build a new interchange at the intersection of State Route 70 and Feather River Boulevard.

March 22 - 28

State Route 70 (Yuba County) between Feather River Boulevard and the Sutter County line: Motorists can expect the north- and southbound right shoulders closed through this spring.

State Route 99 (Butte County) Work continues on a $10 million project by the Butte County Association of Governments and Caltrans to replace the northbound bridge over Butte Creek. The project is scheduled for completion in 2015. No traffic-interfering work is scheduled.

State Route 99 (Sutter County) Work is wrapping up on a $31 million project to construct a full interchange at Riego Road. The project is scheduled for completion by early 2015. No traffic-interfering work is scheduled.

SHORT-TERM PROJECTS

Interstate 5 (Colusa County) at the Hall Street overcrossing: North- and southbound motorists can expect the #2 lane and right shoulder closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday for bridge work.

State Route 32 (Butte County) between the Glenn County line and Meridian Road: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 9 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for guardrail work.

State Route 32, or East 9th Street (Butte County) between Aspen and Linden streets: Eastbound motorists can expect the #2 lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday for tree work.

State Route 49 (Yuba/Sierra counties) from Marysville Road to Nevada Street: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various locations and times from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for miscellaneous work.

State Route 65 (Yuba County) between South Beale Road and Morrison/Rancho roads: Eastbound motorists can expect the #1 lane closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday for crack seal work.

State Route 70 (Butte County) between the State Route 191 junction and Wheelock Cattle Pass: North- and southbound motorists can expect the #1 lane closed from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday for guardrail work.

State Route 70 (Butte County) between Pentz Road and the West Branch Feather River: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for bridge work.

State Route 70 (Butte County) from the Pulga Road area to Penstock: Motorists can expect one-way traffic control at various times from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday for guardrail work.

State Route 99 (Sutter County) between Eager Road and Encinal Road/Live Oak Boulevard: Southbound motorists can expect the #2 lane closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday for crack seal work.

State Route 162 (Butte County) at about one-tenth mile east of Veatch Street: Westbound motorists can expect the right shoulder closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for curb, gutter and sidewalk work.

The Caltrans District Traffic Management Branch has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above. Lanes are numbered from the center divide (#1) to the shoulder (#2, 3, 4, etc.).
