11th Annual Vintage Tractor Days at the Alcouffe Center

Last year’s 10th anniversary Vintage Tractor Days was a great time but the 11th annual edition is soon to be here and promises to be even better. In addition to all the regularly scheduled activities and events for the entire family, new this year will be a raffle for a Ford 8N tractor ready to work, play or be fully restored. Details about the tractor and purchase of raffle tickets are available on line at www.alcouffecenter.org. Win the 8N and be a part of Ford farming history!

Tractor games at the arena area are a highlight of the two day event (tractor games each day of the event) with a new game added each year in addition to the traditional barrel rollin’, corn plantin’, toilet seat slingin’, chain curlin’, joustin’, etc. Whether a participant or spectator, everyone has a great time at the tractor games. Kids can also enjoy bounce houses, pedal tractors, a teeter-totter, playground equipment, a mini train ride, and supervised games with prizes, all at no charge. The vintage tractor displays and browsing the many arts and crafts vendors are enjoyable family activities. Several food booths will provide a variety of food for the family for lunch and snacks.

Vintage Tractor Days is the largest vintage tractor show in northern CA and unlike many other shows is structured to be a family event with activities for the whole family. Riding along on the free hayrides as part of the tractor parades is a very popular family activity.

This popular event is scheduled for May 2 & 3, 2015 at the Alcouffe Community Center, 9185 Marysville Rd., Oregon House, CA. Admission is free, parking is $5. There is no charge for attending any event or activity at Tractor Days. A schedule for the two day event is posted on the alcouffecenter.org website.

Tractor display registration is open to anyone with a tractor (whether restored or not) 1970 or older. Small engine restorers, etc. are also welcome to participate. Tractor and Vendor registration is open until the day prior to the event. Registration fees are nominal and information for both tractor display and vendors as well as contacts for additional information can be found at the alcouffecenter.org website.

Vintage Tractor Days, now in its 11th year, is the premiere family event for spring in the foothills. Put it on your calendar now so you don’t miss it!
