At a recent ENF Awards Dinner, three cash awards, totaling $2,000, were presented to three deserving local non-profit organizations. The awards were made possible by the Lodge reaching its per capita goal of $4.60, and obtaining a Gratitude Grant from the Elks National Foundation (“ENF”).
Recipient organizations included the Yuba-Sutter Gleaners Food Bank, helping to feed the needy; Marysville High School athletic department, helping to replace and repair damaged athletic equipment; and the Yuba-Sutter Training officers Association (“YSTOA”), helping in the continuation of fire fighting training for volunteer and new firemen.
