Pet of The Week - Rosie
Hi, my name is Rosie (A146753) and I have been at Yuba County Animal Care Services since November 3rd! I had hoped to find a “Forever Home” for Christmas, then maybe the New Year, but alas that did not happen. Now I have set my hopes on being in my own home by Valentine’s Day. I am a female, domestic short hair mix approximately three years young. Shelter staff will tell you I am extremely loving and sweet. If you want to pet me I will roll onto my back so you can. I pride myself on keeping my fur nice a clean. If you would like to make me your Valentine come by so I can steal your heart! Just a reminder, there will be a low cost rabies vaccination clinic sponsored by North Valley Veterinary Medical Association and Yuba County Sheriff's Animal Care Services, Saturday January 24th, 2015; 2-4pm at Yuba County Animal Care Services 2545 Feather River Blvd., in Olivehurst and the Yuba County Sheriff’s Brownsville Sub-Station, 16796 Willow Glen Road, Brownsville. Rabies vaccinations are $6.00. Other low cost vaccinations will be available. Yuba County dog licenses will also be available. All Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. We only offer these clinics twice a year; the next one will be February 21st, 2015. For more information you can contact the shelter at 530-741-6478. Kennels are open Monday –> Friday 10am – 3:30pm and Saturdays 10am – 2 pm. You can also go to www.petharbor.com or www.petfinder.com to see all of our adoptable animals and look for your lost family pets.
