Pet of the week: Tanya

Hi my name is Tanya (A132300). Have you ever had to start over? You know, look for a new place to live, new friends, even a new name? Then maybe you can help me out- I could really use someone to talk to about all of this. You see, I wandered a little too far from the house, got picked up and brought to the shelter, and no one came to get me. I have celebrated Christmas, New Years, Valentines, St. Paddy’s Day and now Easter without a family of my own. I'm looking for some new people to call my family. I'm a great cat and truly enjoy the company of humans. Other cats not so much. I am looking to move into a home that wants me and only me. I'm old enough to be beyond the naughtiness of kittenhood but young enough to have a whole lot of life ahead of me. I sure would like to have someone to share it with. Please, won't you help me with my new beginning? Yuba County Animal Care Services will also be holding adoption events: Saturday April 13th from 9 – 2 at Starbucks in Marysville and Sunday April 14th at Petco in Yuba City from 10 -2. Yuba County Animal Care Services is at 5245 Feather River Blvd., in Olivehurst, 530-741-6478. Shelter hours are Monday – Friday 8:30– 3:30 (Kennel hours are 10 – 3:30) and Saturdays 10 – 2.
