In celebrating the restoration and return of the nearly 130 year old original Bok Kai dragon, Moo Lung, local historian and author, Wallace Hagaman, will present the history of the Marysville Bok Kai dragons.
Mr. Hagaman; noted author of 19th century gold rush Chinese history will share his extensive research and his private collection of rare photos of all five Marysville dragons.
Come and hear stories about Moo Lung, Gum Lung, Lung Huang, Kim Lung, and Hong Wan Lung. See how they appeared in parades in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Then come to the Bok Kai parade and see Moo Lung for yourself.
