• Obama said “don’t get on your high horse” about ISIS because the 1095 crusades and the Inquisition did bad things in the name of Christ. This is the same man who has demanded that all Muslims should not be blamed for the deeds of a few. Yet he excoriates all Christians for the few who participated in the Crusades and the Inquisition some 1000 years ago.

• The most recent reporting has median household income dropping by 4%. Perhaps this is how Obama thinks the economy is improving.

• The US Fish & Game is proposing to spend millions of taxpayer dollars on the Monarch butterfly. Why? Because their numbers have gone down from a reported 1 billion (so they say) to only 30 million. Therefore they are endangered. Consider that the middle class is drastically diminishing, but you won’t find any bureaucracy or Environmental group demanding that it be saved.

• Obama gave China a pass on the “climate change” issue. He penned a deal where China can pollute all it wants and the US has to make up the difference. This warped thinking has consequences which are being felt in California. The California EPA wants to reduce the amount of pollutants allowable in the local atmosphere which will cause severe costs in businesses and jobs. However, emissions from China and other Asian countries are blowing across the Pacific Ocean. Scientists from the astronomical observatory on Chews Ridge in the Santa Lucia Mountains, the University of California, Davis are increasing baseline levels of ozone in the western U.S. These emissions add to locally generated pollution, worsening smog in cities such as Bakersfield, Fresno and Los Angeles. Thanks for your help Obama. The EPA ought to knock it off.

• The Marines in the Yemen embassy were required to destroy their crew-served weapons and remove the firing pins from their personal weapons before being herded into a commercial flight to get out of Dodge. How do you veterans feel about this travesty?

• A proposed new war powers resolution, as written by Obama, gives him Congressional cover for doing nothing against a real and present danger. Yet the mainstream media delivers lavish praise for his “plan.” When will they ever learn?

• Recently we had rants and raves about the “Pineapple Express” going to dump huge amounts of rain locally. It didn’t happen and if you watch the evolving forecasts the “Meteorologists” were climbing all over themselves explaining why the previous hour’s forecast was wrong. So now, on the front page of the media, we read that scientists are saying we are going to have longer droughts in the western sections of the country – the worst in more than 1000 years. Good grief! If they can’t get a 24 hour forecast right, what makes them think they can predict to 2050? Maybe they feel safe because they won’t be around then to take accountability for their predictions?

• Butte County rejected an anti-fracking” ordinance recently. Finally, a political body rejected another environmental fraud.
