Yuba City, Ca.
The Yuba City Home, Garden and Recreation will be held this weekend on March 27th, 28th and 29, 2015 at the Fairgrounds in Yuba City. The event is full of various activities, over 350 home and garden related exhibits, children’s activities, the Recycled Art Competition, recreational exhibitors and much more. “The economy has come roaring back to life at the show as we now better registration at the event than we did in 2006, “said Andrew Coolidge, Show Producer, “and we are also expecting record crowds to attend as many people are looking towards projects for their home or yard”
The show is the 22nd Annual event and features everything you need for your home and garden. Exhibitors include landscapers, nurseries, window companies, painting contractors, door companies, garden art and statuary, roofers, hot tubs, pools, landscaper material suppliers, plumbers, tree trimmers, and much more. “If you have plans or dreams for your home or yard then you can’t afford to miss this show,” said Coolidge, “We have everything represented for those looking to remodel with a contractor to products for the avid do-it-yourselfer”
The show has grown over 15% in size over last year as well adding in many more exhibitors to the acres of outdoor displays. The show has over 160 indoor exhibitors taking up all five buildings on the fairgrounds. “This is the most comprehensive show we have ever presented,” said Coolidge, “it is clear that the economic condition is changing rapidly from last year.”
The show also has numerous products focused on saving money. From the latest gadgets in the kitchen to save you time or to solar panels on your roof to a whole house fan in your attic or even a new air conditioner for the approaching summer, the show has numerous companies on-site that are focused on ways to improve energy efficiency. “The show is a great way to find out about the latest government rebates on solar energy or general updates to your home which will save you money down the line,” said Coolidge.
Numerous other events and activities will be available at the show. The Recycled Art Competition will return with a fun exhibit of local artists creating projects made entirely out of recycled or reclaimed material. Cash prizes are awarded to the winners and attendees to get vote for the project they like best. Kids under 16 years are free with a paying adult and will enjoy face painting, bounce houses and numerous activities throughout the show.
Other items to see at the show include the new Gift and Gourmet Hall, pet focused products, resorts, RV’s and travel trailers, motorcycle and four runner displays, crafts, cooking demonstrations, and gourmet food samples. “We are pleased to be presenting one of the best events in the area,” said Coolidge, “this year the show is not only great if you are looking to do something around your house, but also a great time for the whole family.”
