Yuba City, Ca.
The Sutter Buttes Tea Party Patriots announced 4rd District Senator Jim Nielsen will be the Special Guest Speaker for their April 6, 2015 meeting.
Senator Nielsen will discuss the latest bills introduced in Sacramento which have California residents and businesses looking at other states for refuge. The Senator’s extensive record of leadership and public service makes him one of California's most recognized advocates for reducing the size and scope of government. Nielsen has proposed hundreds of specific reforms to reform state government regulations and reduce out-of-control state spending. He authored legislation to reform California's welfare system and reduce welfare fraud and co-authored California's landmark Victims Bill of Rights and Marsy's Law. A fiscal conservative, successful farmer and rancher, and staunch opponent of high taxation and government waste, Senator Nielsen will discuss the drought, water storage issues, education, immigration, gun control, and taxes.
Don’t forget – Our regular feature In The News with Paul Preston, Agenda 21 Radio, will follow our Special Guest Speaker. Paul will be discussing local and national issues of the day.
The Sutter Buttes Tea Party meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. at their new location: The Church of Glad Tidings, 1179 Eager Road, Live Oak – at Highway 99 and Eager Road.
