Where do I start: Well with a wonderful full of life woman “CLARA McCALL”

I asked her why she wanted to be a Librarian, she said “It was on her bucket list” She has already fulfilled other items on that list; she has been a Secretary, Licensed Vocational Nurse, and yes a “Hog Rider”. She owns a beautiful Harley which she still rides. She has all the leathers to go with it.
Clara has spent countless hours setting up and organizing a full Library. All our books are donated. She organizes the books and sets them in correct categories on shelves. She has also decorated the library with various items.

She takes the time to get to know those who read and knows their likes and will save books for them. Seniors can take books out and return them on the honor system. There is no shortage of books.
Clara also works in our kitchen, which serves lunch five days a week. She cooks, serves, cleans, and does it with a smile on her face most of the time. She is a real asset to our cook Irene Broome who is also our Secretary-Treasurer of the center.

Ask Clara about her greatest accomplishments she will say her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is still a spring chicken at “73”.
