AnimalSave has been carrying out its good work for the animals for over thirty years. Beginning as a grass-roots organization in the early 70's it has grown with the need of the community's dogs and cats. Through its main programs - the Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic, Foster/Adoption Program and Low-Income Pet Food Assistance Program - AnimalSave provides a continuum of care that prevents animals from entering the overcrowded shelter system. AnimalSave's primary focus is to offer a solution to the problem of too many dogs and cats and not enough homes by providing proactive and affordable spay/neuter services. In the seven years AnimalSave's Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic has been operating, over 13,000 dogs and cats have been altered - greatly reducing the number of homeless animals in our community.
