Fishin' Talk

By Boots Johnson

We hear from Bullard’s Bar Reservoir. Spotted Bass are being taken regularly and a recent report told of a ten pounder being caught by Woodland angler Jason Kincannon. The near record big female bass was released. Good for you, Jason!!

Congratulations goes out to Yuba City angler nine year old Owen Reische, from Yuba City who caught a beautiful four pound bass while fishing Englebright Reservoir and to Gridley angler Steve Monahan who landed a nice 3 ½ pound rainbow trout out of Collins Lake. Kudos also goes out to Bob Boucke, who also lives in Yuba City, on his 9.12 pound striper. Bob caught the fish on the Sacramento River near the Teasdale boat ramp on a jumbo minnow. Good show, Guys!!
