11th Annual Children's 4th of July Parade

Yuba City will salute America at the 11th annual Children’s 4th of July Parade sponsored by the City of Yuba City’s Fire and Parks and Recreation Departments. Children up through 6th grade are welcome to participate in this free event by dressing up, decorating their bike or wagon and celebrating America’s Birthday as they parade to the Town Center from Gauche Aquatic Park on Thursday, July 4, 2013.

Staging begins at 9:45 am on C Street in front of Gauche Aquatic Park, located at 421 C Street, Yuba City. The parade begins at 10 am and will conclude at the Town Center where refreshments will be available.

Parents are welcome to accompany their young children on the parade route. Children are encouraged to bring their decorated wheels of any kind – bikes, trikes, wagons, unicycles, skateboards, roller skates; anything that is not powered by fuel!

No animals, pets or motorized vehicles will be permitted although battery operated vehicles are permissible. Safety helmets are required by all participants.

The event is put on by the City of Yuba City’s Park and Recreation Department and Fire Department, along with local sponsors.
