Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau will host a free workshop provided by EnviroPro Energy LLC to demonstrate propane and natural gas powered irrigation engines on April 28. Part of the workshop will include classroom discussions on CARB requirements, types of engines, engine sizing breakdown, calculation of summer load comparisons between propane, natural gas, diesel or electric engines, and rebate programs. The discussion will address benefits to considering the use of propane and natural gas engines.
The workshop will also include live demonstrations of propane powered engines and a period for questions and answers. The workshop will be held at Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau, 475 N. Palora Avenue, Suite A in Yuba City from 8:30AM to 11:30AM.
